Mindfulness programmes are for individuals; for organisations that would like to assist employees with stress and wellness, or as a team-builder; as well as for health practitioners who would like to integrate mindfulness in their personal and work life.

If an organisation arranges a programme in-house, the arrangements will suit its needs.

Programme dates for 2020

The MBSR programme is an eight-week programme, with once-a-week classes and home practice in between. This creates a systematic process of learning and practice. The nine sessions consist of eight weekly classes of two hours each, as well as one full day retreat. The first class is 2.5 hours. The weekly classes start at 18.00.

The first 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction programme of 2020 starts on 18 February and continues every Tuesday (18.00-20.00) until 1 April 2019. It includes a full day on Saturday 28 March.

The second 8-week programme starts on 5 May  and continues every Thursday (18.00-20.00) until 25 June 2020 (the last two sessions are on a Thursday evening).   It includes a full day on Saturday 13 June.

The third programme of 2020 starts on 25 August and continues every Thursday (18.00-20.00) until 13 October 2020.  It includes a full day on Saturday 3 October.

Venue: 525 Chopin Street, Constantia Park, Pretoria. This is a corner stand so the entrance is not in Chopin, but in Douglas Green Street. It is on the Eastern side of Medicross.

Cost: R 3500.00 of which R2000.00 is due before the start and the rest halfway through the programme, unless you arrange a different payment plan. Everyone participates in a ‘bring-and-eat’ on the full day.
